Osaze Excited To Be Back In Keshi’s Plans


Stoke City’s Osaze Odemwingie is really excited to be included back into the Keshi’s list after his pro longed absence from the National team.

Osaze was included in the 30-man provisional World Cup list submitted yesterday by Keshi, This move suprised a lot of pundits. Osaze had been excluded from the Eagles camp after having a dispute with Big Boss Keshi due to not making AFCON 2013.

Osaze had taken to his twitter account immediately after hearing the news, to reveal his mood, he said: ‘Thanks for the congratulations. The return of the prodigal son Channels tv said? Anyhow una call am I am pleased to be back??.’’


Coach Keshi had revealed that Osaze apologized for his actions to the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF and the technical crew and thats why he was recalled.

List Of Top Ten Fastest Footballers In The World


FIFA just released the much awaited list of the fastest footballers in the world. Topping the list is a Manchester United player whom people might not agree with.

FIFA determined this based on the highest recorded speed of a player in a game whilst in possession of the ball. Well with a speed of 35.1 km/h, Valencia beat the likes of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Franck Ribery and co. Chelsea Best Team In the World – FIFA Ranking

Chelsea are the best team in the world, while Real Madrid are the seventh best and Manchester United are 19th

This is according to the International Federation of Football History and Statistics, an organisation recognised and supported by, although not affiliated with, FIFA.

Their latest Club World Rankings, accounting for results between March 1 2012 and February 28 2013, have produced some results that seem bizarre.

Another accolade: European champions Chelsea should enjoy being the No 1 team in the world while it lasts In second place are Atletico Madrid and third, Chelsea’s vanquished Champions League final opponents Bayern Munich. Fourth are Club World Cup champions Corinthians, while the mighty Barcelona are down in fifth.

The rankings are calculated by including results from national league matches, continental and intercontinental competitions and the most important national cup competition, ignoring results before the last 16 phase…. see full list…. FIFA has revealed the names of the three players who remain in the race to win the World Footballer of the Year award 2012. They are Andres Iniesta (Spain, FC Barcelona), Lionel Messi (Argentina/FC Barcelona) and Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal/Read Madrid)
